Rules & Regulations

• Students can avail the institute bus transport service subject to the availability of seats and/or stoppage. Parents/Guardians are requested to consult the Institute Transport In-charge for details regarding routes of buses. No extension or modification of existing route will be entertained.


• The monthly/quarterly/full-session bus service fees/charges for the scheduled route/routes will be as per notification. Bus fee/charges along with applicable GST is payable in advance by day 5th of each calendar month (as the case may be) on monthly/quarterly/full-session basis, failing which a penalty at the rate of Rs. 50/- per day will be levied during the next 10 days of nonpayment and thereafter the registration will be considered cancelled/expired.


• A student who is commuting by Institute bus should be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the up time of the bus. The bus will not wait for any latecomers. The student has to be on the correct side of the arriving bus. The scheduled timings are available with the Transport-in-charge at the Institute. The Institute reserves the right to alter the timings if and when necessary.


• Students are allowed to use only the allotted bus and bus stop. No change will be allowed without prior written permission of the Institute. The drivers/helpers/escorts should not be requested for change in stoppage or timings.


• The Institute will not be held responsible for any lapses in the bus services. In case of discrepancies/grievances parents/guardians are requested to contact the Transport in-charge.


• In the case of change in stop and/or bus (of a temporary or permanent nature) the permission for the same has to be sought through an application on prescribed form available at the Transport desk of the Institute. The filled in application form along with requisite fee to be submitted before the Transport-in-charge at the Institute for permanent change. However the change shall be become effective only after a written permission is granted by the Transport-in-charge.


• Any grievances related to transport problem should be intimated to Transport in-charge. Any unruly behavior with Transport Department, Drivers and Helpers by the parents may result in the cancellation of their ward's transport registration.


• No student is allowed to leave the campus on their own. However, if due to certain emergencies, a student has to leave the campus during Institute hours under his own arrangements, the following rules are to be observed:
  A written request from the parents/guardian is required.
  A permission slip is obtained and shown at the Institute gate before leaving the campus


• No student should go near the bus until it comes to the complete halt.


• Student should not travel standing on the footboard or must not put their hand or head out of the window or moving around in the bus when it is in motion.


• Consumption of edibles except drinking water is not permitted in the bus. No object should be discarded inside or thrown outside the bus.


• The driver's attention must not be distracted for any reason. Unruly behavior like shrieking, shouting and playing inside the bus is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times. Any difficulty or offence that may occur should be reported to the Institute/Transport in-charge as soon possible. Strict action will be taken against anyone violating the Bus Rules.


• Parents are requested to be patient, if a bus arrives late due to any unforeseen circumstance.


• The Institute/Transport cannot be held responsible for misplaced belongings in the bus. In such cases parents are requested to contact the Lost & Found section of the Institute/Transport.


• A change of route is possible only on availability. The requisite fee and minimum 15 days’ notice in writing is required to effect the change.


• During Exams/Events/Special Days, bus pick-up drop point might have to be readjusted to which the parents are expected to make adjustment and comply with the decision of the Institute/Transport.

I/We have carefully read the above Rules & Regulations and undertake to abide by the same, and if I/We violate the same, the said services may be terminated for me/us.

Terms & Conditions

• No withdrawal/cancellation/refund would be considered without one months’ prior written notice/intimation.


• Parents/Guardians are requested to abide by the Rules & Regulations printed above.


• Any loss/damage caused intentionally to the bus is chargeable.
